Wizard Compact II

The Sailplane Shop is proud to be the exclusive US distributor of the Wizard Compact II. The Wizard is one of the best slope planes in the world and the construction, fit and finish is second to none. It is truly a work of art.

All Wizards are handmade in Slovakia by Milan Janek. Worldwide production is about 40 per year! His attention to detail has to be seen to be believed. Look INSIDE a wing before you install servos and you will see what I mean. These planes are as pretty inside as out.

There are several configurations of the Wizard available. The standard Wizard is a two-piece wing with all moving, detachable V-tails. For DS use an optional one-piece V-tail with elevators is available and, new for 2004, is a cross tail version (see more pix). The wing joiner is made of carbon.

Standard layups include:

  • Glass
  • Carbon 93
  • Carbon 160
  • BPV (Bullet Proof Version - Double Carbon)
  • Superlight

Due to the volitility of the Dollar/Euro exchange rate prices fluctuate. I always give the best deal I can on this rare plane. If you want something special let me know. We can probably do it!
